The Copperstate Double Gun is a unique sporting clays shooting tournament that benefits Phoenix Art Museum. Organized by the Men’s Arts Council, the Copperstate Double Gun features a full day of fun, friendly competition and team camaraderie.
The 2018 shoot will mark our 9th year presenting this unique event.
The Copperstate Double Gun features double barrel, break action shotguns, which may be over/under or side-by-side configurations, with or without hammers.
Winner takes all in this one-round, 100 shot competition. Trophies will be awarded in the categories of over/under and side-by-side configurations for large (12 and 16 gauge) and small (20 gauge and under, including 410 bore) shotgun classes.
The tournament course will challenge even the most seasoned shooter.
In addition to the tournament course, the Copperstate Double Gun also offers various Specialty Stations. Shooters buy chances to shoot at the Specialty Stations with net proceeds being shared by the winning shooter and the Phoenix Art Museum.
The cost to enter is $225 for individual shooters and $800 for a foursome. Golf carts will be provided to all shooters.

The VIP Shooter Experience
This unique experience is available for teams up to 5 people but no more than a field of 30 shooters. Arrive for lunch and registration then be escorted to the stations by your own Shooting Concierge. VIPs will be the only shooters on the course and will compete with each other for trophies and awards. The cost includes swag bags and 1 mulligan per shooter. Signed up now, spots will fill quickly.

Admission: $15 adults; $12 senior citizens (65+), $10 full-time students with ID; $6 children ages 6 to 17; Children under 6 and Phoenix Art Museum members receive free admission. The Museum offers free general admission for everyone on Wednesday evenings, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and for First Fridays, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Special policies and fees may apply to ticketed and special exhibitions.
Hours: Wednesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday Noon to 5 p.m.; First Fridays, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Some exhibitions have special hours. The Museum is closed Mondays, Tuesdays and major holidays. The Museum Store and Palette restaurant are open during Museum hours.
